Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Aderit.ai (“Aderit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website at aderit.ai (the “Site”) and our workforce data platform and related services (together, the “Services”). Aderit is a Delaware corporation based in Fargo, North Dakota.
1. Our two roles
Aderit handles personal information in two distinct capacities:
- As a service provider (processor). When an enterprise customer uses the Aderit platform, we process workforce and HR data that the customer submits to us or connects from its own systems, on the customer’s behalf and under its instructions. For that data, the customer is the controller and is responsible for its own privacy practices. This data is governed by the agreement (and any data processing addendum) between Aderit and that customer, not by this Policy. If you are an employee or contractor of an Aderit customer and want to exercise rights over your workforce data, please contact your employer.
- As a controller. For personal information we collect directly through the Site and in the ordinary course of running our business—such as information about website visitors, prospective customers, and business contacts—Aderit is the controller. This Policy describes those practices.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you contact us, request a briefing or demo, subscribe to updates, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect your name, business email, company, job title, and the contents of your message.
- Automatically collected information. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and similar usage data through cookies and comparable technologies.
- Customer platform data. Workforce data processed through the platform on behalf of our customers is handled as described in Section 1 and is not governed by this Policy.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide information you request;
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and Services;
- To communicate with you about products, services, and events (where permitted, with an option to opt out);
- To detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, and misuse; and
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information on the basis of our legitimate interests (operating and promoting our business), your consent (where required, such as for certain cookies or marketing), performance of a contract, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers and subprocessors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), analytics, and communications tools, under obligations of confidentiality and data protection;
- Legal and safety purposes, where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public; and
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We maintain an information security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to its sensitivity. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States and process information there. Where we transfer personal information from other regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; we do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights with respect to information for which Aderit is the controller, email us at ethics@aderit.ai. For workforce data held on behalf of an employer, please contact that employer. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to operate the Site and, where permitted, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Site functions.
11. Children
The Site and Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
